Ode to Benny's Place

I meant to put this in some time ago, but here it is now. Benny's Place is a bar/restaurant near Motomachi that was a haven for my family because no matter what, we knew we could find someone to talk to in English there! Benny owns and runs the place and he was my hero when I first got to Japan because he found me the medicine I needed when I was really sick. Go-san runs the bar and is one of the most entertaining individuals to talk to in Japan. She is so much fun and a real sweetie! On top of that, there was almost always at least one westerner there, you tend to become familiar with the repeat customers very quickly. I really will miss the greasy, spicy, tasty dishes and conversation I could find at Benny's Place every Friday night.
